CCA Launching 2008

		为了学生身心的均衡发展，兼顾到学生体育、美育与群育，中正中学每年在校园活动方面，均有多姿多彩的课外活动，让学生松懈功课的压力之余，也借以培育学生健全等体魄、互助合群的能力。 在今年开学后立刻进行的设立分组编选后，中正中学本年度课外活动，今天上午，在集会中正式推展。除了学术活动由各科目导师负责以外，体育文娱活动，则安排在周一及周四举行。各团体活动组织采学生自治的方式，老师负责督导的任务。借以培养学生体育、美育、群育 外的合作与领导的能力。因此，在推介礼之后，各组织社团，将遴选各自的干部，计划全年活动内容，正式开展丰富的校园生活。 图：中正课外活动推介礼，部分社团代表与校长及活动纪律主任金巴力合影		The co-curricular activities of Chung Ching Middle School for the year 2008 were formally launched by our Principal Mr. Sim Jeng Siang on the 08-Jan-08. during the school assembly. Co- curricular activities are given great importance at CCMS, as we recognize the crucial need for the balanced development of the different facets of a student’s personality, besides the academic. We have the sports clubs- basket ball, cricket, football, badminton and ping pong, to enhance physical fitness as well as to foster the spirit of teamwork. We also give opportunities to fine tune artistic talents through clubs such as the dancing club. The clubs have their activities mainly on Thursday and Monday afternoons. There are teachers- in- charge for each of the clubs, but student leaders play an important part in organizing club activities through year. Thus, leadership qualities also are promoted by means of these co-curricular activities. In addition, they are an excellent means to relax of the body and the spirit, and helps in maintaining a rich campus life for our students.
